How to install Android Rom on HTC HD2


If you are one of those HTC HD2 owners who flashed Android on their handsets, then there is some great news for you. Now you won’t have to boot in WinMo to land in Android because the first NAND Android ROM for HTC HD 2 is out! By flashing this ROM on your HTC HD2, you can now boot straight into Android OS



Here is the step by step guide to install NAND ROM on your HTC HD2 so that you can directly boot into Android:

1. The first step is to download MAGLDR Version 1.09 Along with NAND Android ROM For HTC HD2. This NAND ROM requires this specific version of MAGLDR and failing to comply with this might brick your device.
2. Once you have MAGLDR 1.09 downloaded on your phone, get ROMUpdateUtility.exe file and install MAGLDR using this.
3. Now boot your HTC HD2 / Leo and in the resulting menu, select USB Flasher and connect your phone to PC.
4. After this execute DAF.exe on your PC and follow onscreen instructions.
5. Now wait for the ROM to install / flash on your phone. Your device will auto reset during the flashing process.
6. After this your HTC HD 2 will automatically reboot i n Android.
7. Once rebooted, power off your phone and then power it on again to cross check if you boot directly in Android.
8. You can also revert back to Winmo 6.5 by flashing any official ROM.
